Research and Collaboration
ASI has a strong commitment to research and collaboration with academic institutes, the pharmaceutical industry and diagnostics sector. These collaborations provide a pipeline of novel techniques and innovation which broaden our own range of bioanalytical services.
Our team has well established links with a progressive and busy academic network and we regularly support post-graduate bioanalytical research within our laboratories, often leading to publications and presentations at meetings (see publications).
Some recent collaborations have included a novel approach to calibrating assays for the measurement of tacrolimus with LGC Group, UK and Waters Corporation, USA • evaluation of methods used to measure sirolimus with Pfizer, USA • tramadol assay development with Al-Azhar University, Egypt • an assessment of the impact of CYP3A5 genotype on the clearance of tacrolimus with the Renal Unit of St George’s, University of London, UK.
